Our chosen music artist is Justin Timberlake, Justin Timberlake is usually portrayed as having two dynamics, he is usually seen as being a kind of sex symbol while also being an all round nice guy. However in our music video we show him in a different light, we emphasise his dark side, we show him as being a creepy character, which is not usually how he is seen. In our video we show him stalking a girl and becoming obsessed with her, this does not fit the general idea of him, he is usually seen as being quite cool and laid back, however in our video he is the complete opposite.
By changing the image of Justin Timberlake we have made the video memorable to his fans as they will remember this video as it is different to his other videos, also this may attract people who are not usually fans of Justin Timberlake as our video portrays a completely different image of him, which his fans who do not like him usually may enjoy.
Our CD cover and website did not hint at the theme of our video at all, this was intentional as otherwise the fans may not want to watch it if they think that it is completely different to his other videos, also because the CD cover and website use bright colours you would think that the theme of the video would be similar to his other videos thats why it is a surprise when you see the video.
